Industrial metal trio Rorschach Test, led by Denver, Colorado vocalist James Baker, is back after the release of 2020 album Done With Satan. They have resurfaced along with lyricist, bassist, social media influencer The Narcoleptic Goddess and musician, guitarist Kolby Peoples. Most recently they released “Fallen” on Goth Day 2024 and “Belated” over the summer to introduce themselves to new listeners and re-welcome themselves to previous fans; fans that have been there since their debut, three decades ago in 1992 when they performed with Korn and Type-O-Negative. Veteran industrial/metal band Rorschach Test has announced the first leg of the Fallen Tour, with seven dates commencing in Eugene, OR on January 17, and concluding in Phoenix, AZ, on January 26. While remaining faithful to the band’s original concept of “a cybernetic organism with an overlay of human flesh,” developed over numerous releases since the 1992 Self Will Run Riot EP, founder and frontman James Baker also promises a journey that “is not like any tour I have been a part of.” The band is partnering with non-profit organizations like NAMI and Kyros with the goal to raise awareness and acceptance for those facing issues of mental health or substance use.
